For the 2013 VH1 film CrazySexyCool: The TLC Story filmed in Atlanta, GA, Asha Crawford stood in for Lil Mama, who played Lisa “Left Eye” Lopes. In this interview on YouTube with The Ashleys, Asha explains what a stand-in does, how she got the job on the film, and whether she also did background work as an extra on the film.

Asha’s first film, she learned a lot about the behind-the-scenes of filmmaking as well as acting. In the interview she talks about being professional toward her first-team actor, but also how Lil Mama was inviting and welcoming toward her on set.
