Recently, SAG-AFTRA announced a meeting for stand-ins next week — Monday, August 18, 2014 — to discuss wages and working conditions (“W&W”) under the Network Television Code, which is being renegotiated in November 2014.

Union stand-ins may attend the meeting to discuss wages and working conditions on “non-dramatic programs, daytime serials, variety, quiz, game, reality, talk, news, sports programs and promotional announcements [‘promos’].”  Below is the email along with meeting details.

SAG-AFTRA Announces Network Television Code W&W Caucus for Stand-Ins to be Held in New York, Monday, Aug. 18

All SAG-AFTRA members who work the Network Television Code as Stand-Ins, such as on award shows and variety shows, are invited to attend this caucus. The purpose of this caucus is to hear the issues and concerns from the membership regarding the upcoming Network Television Code negotiations. This agreement expires on Nov. 15, 2014. The caucus is open to all paid-up members and participation will be limited only by fire rules. Come early and please bring your current membership card (paid thru Oct. 31, 2014) for admittance.
