Mannequin Challenge: “Madam Secretary” Crew

Last week on Stand-In Central we touched on whether mannequins could do the jobs of stand-ins. It comes as a bit of a surprise that for the second week in a row, we are covering mannequins on Stand-In Central — in the form of the trend known as the “Mannequin Challenge.”

So far, students, sports teams, and celebrities have noticeably frozen in place in environments while a camera operator walks through the people capturing their amazing poses. To top it off, playing over the video is usually the song “Black Beatles” by Rae Sremmurd.

Stand-In Central senior contributor Sara DeRosa found herself literally in the middle of a Mannequin Challenge video on the job of Madam Secretary, where she stands in (and photo-doubles) for the show’s lead actor, Téa Leoni. Below is the Madam Secretary Mannequin Challenge video involving cast and crew from the show — see if you can spot Sara amid the crew and her lookalike first-teamer.

A number of Mannequin Challenge videos were filmed on planes, so it’s extra special that the Madam Secretary video also was filmed on a plane — from what you could first tell!
