As a curious find on YouTube, I recently came across a song titled “Stand-In Actor.” The song is by the Brookyn-based indie band Double Mint Dragon.

The song was released a little over a year ago in 2018. Give it a listen here:

The song starts with an instrumental for more than two minutes before eventually starting in with lyrics.

The lyrics don’t seem to have a clear reference to stand-ins or actors, but then again, maybe a closer listen will turn up some secret connection!
